Craft – Opening Our Hearts to Forgive

Materials:
 Precut black heart frame and inset, prepared with contact paper
 Precut tissue paper
 Precut contact paper
 Brad
 Printed bible verse

Directions:
1. Children will glue the bible verse to the heart frame.
2. Children will carefully stick the tissue paper to the contact paper in the heart frame.
3. Help children place the other piece of contact paper on top of the tissue paper.
4. Use the brad to attach the heart so it covers the heart in the frame.
5. Move the black heart back and forth to illustrate what happens to our hearts when we
open our hearts to forgive. The forgiving heart is beautiful and the light of God can
shine through it.
