How to use Zoom

1. Joining a meeting from a computer

1.1 Click on the link sent to you via email. Alternatively, go to ‘zoom.us’ and click on ‘Join a
meeting’

1.2 Enter the meeting ID shown on the invitation email

1.3 A download will start automatically

1.4 Click on the downloaded file and enter your name

1.5 Click on ‘Join with Video’

1.6 Finally, select ‘Join with Computer Audio’

 2. Joining a meeting from a smartphone/tablet

2.1 Download the Zoom app

2.2 Open the app and click on ‘Join a meeting’
2.3 Enter the meeting ID the school has provided and write your name in the field below it so that
your teacher can recognize you.
2.4 Finally, click on “Join with Video”.
3. Meeting Controls

3.1 At the bottom of your screen you will see the following toolbar:
3.2 If you need to use the whiteboard click on ‘View Options’ and then ‘Annotate’
