You are preparing for PPE program for your furniture making company.
Workers are involved in
a) cutting wood/planks/plywood and
b) painting varnish shellac as the finishing.

The operation starts daily at 9.00 am to 5.00 pm.

Write a proposal of the PPE program that covers each element as describe under:

• Occupational Safety and Health (Use and Standard of Exposure of Chemicals Hazardous to
Health) Regulations 2000.

• Chapter 4: PPE program in the Guidelines on the Use of PPE against Chemical Hazards; published
by Department of Occupational Safety & Health (DOSH), 2005.

The proposal for the PPE program may include the following:
