PAPYRUS Paper Presentation Competition

It's a national level event which will basically judge the presentation skills, awareness and in depth knowledge of
their respective fields. In this the students have to present their own innovations in the specified topics.

ENTRY FEES PER TEAM : Rs 150/-

RULES:-

1. Maximum no of authors: 3

2. All Undergraduate, polytechnic students can participate.

3. Interested students should send the abstracts of their paper along with their personal details such as
Name, college, branch, year, contact no. and email id's to the following email address:
aayaam.paper@sitrc.org.

4. Abstract should be of 150-250 words.

5. Last date for submitting your abstracts is 17th march.


The abstracts that don't have personal details will be rejected.

6. The students will receive confirmation email if their abstracts get selected.

7. The confirmation email will be sent on the same email address from which we have received your
abstracts. So please make sure to check your inbox regularly.

8. On receiving confirmation, students will have to send the soft copy of full paper by email to
aayaam.paper@sitrc.org.

9. The paper should be in IEEE FORMAT only.

10. And also , students have to send the HARD COPY of full paper by POST to the following address :

11. The papers will be grouped according to the branches as follows :


a. Computer/IT
b. E&TC.
c. Mechanical
d. Civil
12. The HARD copy of full paper should reach the college on or before 24th March,2011 by POST.
OR
The student can bring the HARD copy of full paper on the day of their respective presentations itself.
13. The prizes will be given separately to the winners of each group
as follows :
1st prize : 2000/-
2nd prize: 1500/-
3rd prize: 1000/-
14. All the participants will be given a certificate of participation
for this event.
PAYMENT DETAILS:
1. By Demand Draft:

1. On getting confirmation email, the student should issue a Demand Draft in favor of “Principal,
Sandip Institute Of Technology and Research Center”, payable at Nashik.

2. The student should send the scanned copy of DD alongwith the soft copy of full paper before

22 March 2011 to the email address aayaam@sitrc.org.

3. Then the student should either send the xerox copy of DD along with the HARD copy of full

paper by POST on or before 24 March 2011.

OR

The student can bring the original DD on the day of their presentation itself.

2. By Cash:

1. The selected students also have the option to pay by cash directly on the day of their paper
presentation.

2. The student should reach early to the venue of paper presentation and pay the cash on
registrations counters.

RULES: PAPER PRESENTATION COMPETITION
1. General Rules:

• Content of the paper does not contain racism, not morality and humanity offensive, never been published
before, and doesn’t contain plagiarism.

• The soft copy that has been sent cannot be changed or edited.

• Every team has to submit one copy of hard copy.

• Use clear and readable writing.

• Slide content must relate to the content of the paper.

2. Rules during the competition


• Duration of each presentation is 10 minutes. After the presentation, additional 2 minutes will be added for
Questions and Answers. Total: 12 minutes for each participant.

• Smoking and making noise is strictly forbidden in the presentation room.

• Nobody is allowed to enter and/or exit the room when the presentation is ongoing.

• All participants are allowed to bring companion/supporter. Each participant is allowed to bring 2 people at most.

• Do not use mobile phones inside the room.


• The candidates should bring the original copy of DD at the time of paper presentation.
