TASK

“My Priorities In Life”

Everyone has priorities in life, whether it's huge or small, its still a
priority, and It depends on a person’s mindset. As i grow older my life priorities
are changing. Life has thrown me a lots of challenges where sometimes i don’t
dodge, I just feel the impact and says “Im hurt, now what?”. Priorities have come
and gone for me as an 19 year-old girl.

Before entered my freshmen year, I thought my future path will be all set.
I’ll start my first year in college with glorious all A’s grades, Manifesting high
paying dream jobs when i graduated. I get to have some friends. I thought my
goals and priorities in life are the same direction. but it was just all “I thought”.
Im an in introvert person who have Hopes, dreams and priorities despite of my
life feels like riding in a never ending rollercoaster but there’s this question in my
head and its How will i ever escape this labyrinth?

To start off, My first priority is God. I know many people do not consider
this as their priority because they have there own beliefs. But for me it’s God
first, I am a proud believer. God gives me hope and strength to get up everyday
despite of what’s happening in my life right now. I am ready and i’ll accept
whatever God’s plan for me and for my family. I know God is challenging me
literally right now, but i trust him, I surrender what chaos i feel right now, and
trust his plans for me.

My second priority priority is my mental health. I cant lie to tell im okay

because im not, Ive been struggling over the past few years. I’ve been up and
down and now i dont know how to get up, where to start, and who to seek help.
as of today im on my down stage. Getting back up is so hard that’s why i made it
my top priority. I can’t function if my mental health isn’t stable. Priorities starts
within yourself and you have to do it for yourself. You have to prioritise yourself
because at the end of the day you only have yourself. You have independent
enough to handle hard situations. Life will always challenge you and it depends
on you if you give up or not. But for me, I keep on fighting because I have this I
don’t know if it’s motivational qoutes but it helps for me. I always said to myself
that “ Wala ka choice”. Yes, I have no choice but to go on with my life because I
long a we’re alive life will always twist our minds and feelings.
Family is also my priority. I really want to give back to them. I became
who i am now because of them. They raised me well even though we have a
huge family problem facing right now. I’m hoping this will end in soon. I really
love my family so much. I want whats the best for them.

My next priority is school. I know, I don’t have a choice not to make this a
priority. Im one out of I don’t know how many percent who hates school. Well
for me I have a lot to learn in my daily life or what we call street smarts than
learning in school. We’ll learning is a bit hard for me these days. Because of this
really serious matter which is the pandemic. I have to attend online class which
is harder than I thought. Like writing this essay, learning from home or distant
learning is hard for me because im not a fast learner, im not a fan of reading
school papers and I have short attention span.

Lastly, Investing in yourself is also should be a priority. I’ve been taking

the time to educate myself, beyond the classroom. Read good books (this is a big
one). Expanding my world view. Taking my time to try to better understand
myself, the world, and how i can best act in the world. Taking advantage of the
fact that I am surrounded by intelligent and educated people in the academic
setting and im taking my time learning from them.

This priorities of mine isn’t constant maybe as time goes by it’ll change.
But one thing is sure that wherever life takes me i’ll be open to accept and keep
going what consequences lies ahead. As what my favourite author Lemony
Snicket said “Life is conundrum of esoterica.”that means, life is a confusing puzzle
made up things most of us don’t understand, or can’t understand. Many things
in life don't make sense–deaths of loved ones, floods, fires, abandonment–and
some of these things don't happen for a reason, or the reason is unclear for a very
long time.

nonverbal communication. The relationship becomes more intimate.

Affective phase: More layers are peeled away until almost the entire personality is
revealed. Participants develop and understanding for one another and begin to discuss

peeled away, exposing the core of the individual’s personality.
