1. What are the best assessment tools you will used if you’re teaching in
Elementary grade? (10pts)
Teaching elementary level is assiduously, yet significant. There are
strategies or methods that can be used as relevant in teaching. Therefore, here
are the best assessment tools that I would use in teaching elementary. First, the
Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) is the ability to apply knowledge, skills and
values in making sense and reflect to solve problems, make decisions, innovate
and create something (Nachiappan, 2018). Second, Identification is a verbal
intelligence test in which the participant identifies objects or parts of objects in a
picture (APA, n.d).Third, Multiple Choice also known as items, can be an
effective and efficient way to assess learning outcomes that consists of a
problem, known as the stem, and a list of suggested solutions, known as
alternatives (Brame, 2013). Fourth, Rubrics Essay types is using specific criteria
to grade assignments it helps and improve students’ writing (Cox, 2020).
