NEUCAL TP2000 THERMAL INSULATION PLASTER
(NON ASBESTOS)
DESCRIPTION:
This is a fiber reinforced insulating plaster designed for hot face applications up to 800ºC

TECHNICAL DATA:
Covering capacity 2m² @ 13mm thick / 45kg bag

Limiting temperature 800ºC

Bulk Density ± 1200 kg/m³

Thermal Conductivity Mean temp 200ºC = 0.06W/mk

PACKAGING:
Supplied in durable polypropylene bags in units of 45kg’s

STORAGE:
Should be stored in a dry, damp proof location. Shelf life is usually 6 months.

PRODUCT APPLICATION:
For best results:

TP2000 should be applied 13mm thick. Prepare surface free of dust and grease. Place wire mesh (chicken
mesh 25mm) over surface and secure. Then using blocks of wood approx. 8mm, place between surface and
mesh for added support.

Mix the dry TP2000 with water (approx 60% plaster and 40% water). Mix well until soft tacky compound.
Allow to stand for 15mins and then mix well again. Using a trowel and applying pressure allowing the
product to spread under the mesh onto the surface build up to the required thickness, ensuring that the build
up is not too dense. Leave to set for 1 hour then apply the finishing plaster. The finishing plaster must be
used for protection of the insulation from the outside elements.
