    THE FLAG OF THE USA

    NOW

    There are 13 stripes that mean the original 13 states of the USA.

    The colours of the stripes are red (bravery and resistance) and white (purity and innocence)

    Also there are the colour blue that means the sky, perseverance and justice and 50 stars that
    are the the 50 states of the USA.

    The flag has been changing because when there was a


    new state the Americans put one more (a star) on the
    flag.

    1 state -> 1 star more on the flag.

    BEFORE

    This flag was not always the same: the flag of the USA
    was different because it had 13 stars in a cercel that
    meant the original 13 states.
