Project Narra ve
The planning and management of a quince is truly one of those func ons that ‘takes a village’. Between
a wide and diverse collec on of selected family members, friends and vendors the success of the event is
dependent on the coordina on of tasks. In order for there to be a seamless and special day for J Molina,
coopera on between these stakeholders is of the utmost importance. Given the unique nature of a
quince, there are three priority tasks that need to be accomplished at a faster rate than all others; those
of which are listed below:
1. Secure an event venue
2. Select and t the chambelan/dames while solidifying the invite list
3. Select a theme for all to follow
As with any event, nothing can be held unless a proper and su cient venue is found. For this event, it is
important for there to be enough space to accommodate the event plans and perspec ve invitees. We
will need to secure a venue that can support the guest, has room for a dance oor, and room for a bar.
The venue will also need a kitchen so the caterer can provide the freshest food possible. In this
prepara on, J. Molina will need to select the 12 individuals she wants on her party. They will need to be
ed and begin prac ce on the quicne dances. Lastly, all other purchases and reserva ons need to
follow the selected theme. This theme is all encompassing for the colors, decor and dress/tuxedos that
the quince will wear.
