SSOSSOHSHHSHOSHSSHHHTHSHOHAOSHHHOOHHEHS SY Parent-Child Interaction Therapy ® * Evidence-based behavioral therapy designed for children with disruptive behavior, ages 2-6. * Incorporates attachment theory, social learning theory, play therapy & behavioral therapy. Therapist coaches parent(s) or care- giver(s) in using specialized techniques in order to modify child’s behavior. * One hour weekly appointments in the therapy office playroom. © Daily home practice to do “Special Play-time.” © Two parts of therapy include: Child Directed Interaction and Parent Directed Interaction. © Total course of therapy to last 16-20 weeks.
