OBJECTIVE
I'm a hard-working and persistent aspiring journalist/sport manager with more than three
years of experience in the collegiate digital media world with working for Northern
Colorado Athletics, Memphis Athletics, Indiana, Ball State's student-run TV station or
WCRD 91.3 and hosting two radio shows or working as a video assistant with Ball State
Football, I possess knowledge and experience within the field of collegiate digital media
and am looking to expand my knowledge as I enter the workforce.

EXPERIENCE
Sport Information Student Assistant | University of Northern Colorado
Athletics (Greeley, CO)
AUGUST 2021 – PRESENT
I am currently a sport information assistant at the University of Northern Colorado. My
responsibilities include creating and posting graphics on UNCO athletics social media pages as
well as get video content for UNCO athletic social media pages.

Volunteer Research Assistant | Kemmons Wilson School of Hospitality and

AUGUST 2020 – PRESENT
I worked on research at the Kemmons Wilson School at the University of Memphis under Dr.
Cody Havard. I have assisted and continue to assist Dr. Havard on writing and publishing
research articles in regards to sport consumer behavior and sport rivalry.
Student Video Assistant | University of Memphis Athletics (Memphis, TN)
AUGUST 2019 – PRESENT
My responsibilities include: running board ops for Tiger Athletics and running the online live
stream during Memphis Tiger home games on Tiger Sports Network as well as getting highlights
for Tiger Athletics social media channels.

My responsibilities included filming practices and games during the 2018 spring ball and 2018
season. I was also responsible for gathering highlights for creating weekly highlight videos for
the team. I also learned how to import film into DVSport software.

My responsibilities included doing VO-SOTs with WBIR News and creating cut-ups from
Tennessee football games for WBIR Sports.

My responsibilities included producing the Ball State Men’s and Women’s basketball games. I
also co-hosted two radio shows, “The Yash and Zach Sports Hour” which focused more on the
statistical aspects of the four North American Sports Leagues (NBA, NFL, MLB, NHL) and
“Beyond the PressBox which focused more on the national storylines revolving around those four
sports leagues. During my time on those shows, I was able to get phone interviews with Kevin
Negandhi of SportsCenter AM and Kevin Connors of SportsCenter at night.

I’m currently enrolled in the sport administration PhD program at the University of Northern
Colorado. I am expected to graduate in May 2024.
