 Preparing to sell lollipop

Our team gathered at shopwise in pacita, in preparation for selling the

lollipops, We bought 3 packs of lollipop for 70 pesos and my team decided
to make a sign board so that people won’t be confused why we we’re
selling lollipop for 3 pesos and to let them know we’re selling it for a good
cause and we need their help.
  Selling lollipop

We didn’t expect that this kind of approach will work well, we thought that we’re just
going to stand there on the side of the street and look stupid, but thankfully there are
people who have a good heart to help the people in need. At first it was really hard, but
we did get used to it. Our first sale was from a street kid and it shocked us, he insist that
he wants to buy one so we let him, he even pay 5 pesos instead of 3 pesos, We didn’t
get to know him though because he walk too fast and we’re still stunned. What that kid
did motivates us to continue on. In selling lollipop we earned for about 500 pesos.
  Grocery for Jericho, Nashlyn and Budog (plan D)

5 days later, our team settle to meet up again in Pacita to carry off our plan
D, B and C. We bought canned foods, bread, biscuits and some fruits like
rambutan, banana and apple using the money we earned.
 Break time

Its twelve noon and we’re starving, so we decided to eat first.

  Meeting the kids (Plan B and C)

Jericho says he wants some taho and nashlyn said she wants some too, so
we bought three taho for the three kids, but budog refuses to eat it, he’s
shy so he gave it to Jericho.
While they’re eating we continue interview them, asked the reason why
they’re in Bayan of San Pedro and some background information and after
that we request for permission whether we can accompany them to go
where they live, because the food we’ll give to them is too heavy for the
kids to bring, also to interview their parents.

They accept our offer to
accompany them. We rode in
the jeepney then paid our
jeepney fare including the
children.
  Hallow block-an


We arrived at the place called hollow block-an (it’s known as where the
hollow blocks for construction are made). We met the children’s mother and
their younger sibling, Milan. We also did interview the mother and ask why
she let her children roam around the street without an adult present, and
Mrs Jenylyn said that “she had no idea about that what she only knew was
the kids are playing outside”, it clearly states that she doesn’t have much
time to look out for the children, probably too busy to take care of Milan,
and the father’s not home at that moment.
After our inquiry, we finally gave them the grocery we bought and the
mother said that she is very grateful for gifts we gave. It will a big help for
their basic needs
  Our team returned (Plan E)

Since our team value education very much and we want to give opportunity
for Budog and Jericho to learn to read and write, also to at least give some
additional school supplies for Nashlyn. We made some letters for the three
kids, it may not be much for now since the two of them can’t read and the
kids may not understand it right now, but we think that the help they receive
from us might bring impact to them and they’ll carry it until they grow up, so
that they’ll remember the good deeds we did and it will inspires them to do
good things here and now, and in the future.
  Hallow block-an (Part 2)

After buying the school supplies and making the letters we commute to
Landayan where the three kids live. It’s a surprise to them to see us again,
so we ask for permission again if we can take pictures of them, this time
with Nashlyn and Jericho’s father, then we proceed in giving the school
supplies.
For the last time we say our goodbyes. Our team hope to see them again in
the future and see what they might’ve become.
