BARANGAY TAX ORDINANCE NO. 2012- 001

AN ORDINANCE IMPOSING FEES FOR THE ISSUANCE OF “BARANGAY

CLEARANCE” AND “CERTIFICATIONS.”

Be it enacted by the Sangguniang Barangay that:

SECTION 1. Imposition of Fee. There is hereby imposed a fee for the issuance of a “Barangay
Clearance” and “Certifications” in the amount prescribed below:

1. Barangay Clearance P 10.00

2. Barangay Clearance for Business Purposes P 10.00

a. Application
b. Renewal

3. Lupon Tagapamayapa
a. Filing a Complaint P 20.00
b. Acquiring Certificate to File Action P 30.00

4. Barangay Certifications
a. For securing Police Clearance, NBI or Court Clearances P 10.00
b. Employment, Scholarship, Study Grant P 10.00
c. Securing Credentials of Carabao P 20.00
d. For Passport or Visa Application P 20.00
e. For securing Postal Identification P 10.00
f. For Shipment of Pets, Flowers and Plants
(Fighting Cocks, Scraps, Chicken, Orchids) P 20.00
g. For securing the SSS Certification P 10.00
h. Other Certifications not mentioned above P 10.00

SECTION 2. Payment. The fee imposed herein shall be paid to the Barangay Treasurer upon
filing the application or before the issuance of the “Clearance” or “Certifications” applied for and
who shall issue an Official Receipt. Senior Citizens shall be given 20% discount as provided for
by the Republic Act 9994 also known as the "Expanded Senior Citizens Act of 2010." In
addition, students shall also be given the same discount as that of the Senior Citizens. They shall
present their Senior Citizen and Student Identification Card.

SECTION 3. Repealing Clause. All Barangay Ordinance, rules and regulations, or parts hereof,
in conflict with or contrary to the provisions of this Ordinance are hereby repealed, amended or
modified accordingly.

SECTION 4. Effectivity. This Ordinance shall take effect fifteen (15) days from the date of its
approval.

held on January 07, 2012.

to augment their income.

2. The issuances of clearances and certifications require the continuing purchase of bond
papers, ink cartridge and other miscellaneous expenses.
