apparently. These Feed the ____ activities
are incredibly engaging and allow you to
practice a large variety of skills.

Focus Skills
Geometry

• Identify common 2-dimensional shapes such as

square, rhombus, rectangle, circle, oval, heart,
star, triangle, octagon, crescent

Literacy
• Can identify all capital letters and most sounds
• Can identify all lowercase letters and some sounds

Algebraic Thinking
• Count from 0-20
• Understand values of numbers 0-20

STEP #1 Print and cut out the Feed the ____ REQUIRED MATERIALS
Template.

STEP #2 Wrap a small box in white paper and
glue on face.

STEP #3 Cut a hole for the mouth.

STEP #4 Invite your preschooler to feed the Scissors Box

animal/person. Ask them to identify
the shape, letter, or number.

TEACHER TIP
Focus on one skill at a time and use Glue Paper
magnetic shapes, letters, and numbers to
cut down on prep.
