Process Innovation

many companies in this modern time where spending time with family or meaningful activities
outside work is important. Japanese companies who adapted founded that the productivity of
their staff 40% more and leads to healthy work culture.
• Online Freelancing, As the internet became inseparable from our daily lives, freelancing found a
place living inside computer monitors. People began looking for clients and work on a project-
by-project basis. Companies would hire these freelancers as part time or offer project contracts
so that they could cut cost on hiring in a temporary or small projects.
• software-as-a-service an innovative process where software delivery and
licensing in which software is accessed online via a subscription, rather than
bought and installed on individual computers.
Product/Service Innovation

• An innovation in the fashion industry that is tagged as vegan leather which is Piña Clothes, it is
made from pineapple (piña) leaves that is considered one of the greatest eco-friendly material
innovations in recent years. The underlying process, piña weaving, has a much longer history in
the Philippines, particularly in Aklan in the Western Visayas where native pineapple plants have
been cultivated for their fiber for generations
• Drones with HD camera integrated by Artificial Intelligence, it revolutionized the entertainment
industry as it created new type of shooting technique that has not been used before in movies.
• Online delivery services, it innovates delivery system in an online platform where anyone who
are eligible to use vehicles and bikes as a mode of goods transportation can register and act as a
freelance delivery and be paid with set of amount every time you successfully transport the
foods or objects.

Disruptive Innovation

• Online education or courses, are poised to disrupt higher education. The industry has seen
the effects of the innovations on companies as it changes the thinking of needing a
degree for specific jobs such as programming where learning things must be constant
and up to date technologies. Companies hires self-taught and career changer as long as
they are proven qualified and know the concept of certain stack.
• 3D printing improves on traditional methods of manufacturing, and it has the potential
to change how consumers obtain things they need. Early 3D printers were decidedly
low-fi, but they have been steadily improving in sophistication. Today, 3D printers can
produce complex items on demand, ranging from prosthetic body parts to spatulas and
even more 3D printers.
• Peer-to-peer (P2P) commerce occurs when two individuals interact directly, selling and
buying products and services to each other. A great example is P2P accommodation.
Companies like Airbnb and Hipcamp let individuals open up rooms in their homes, or
offer up plots of private land for camping, and visitors can book directly.
