1. Draft copy of thesis to be brought at the time of pre-talk should also follow the following
general instructions
2. Submission of project thesis should be done after the project is approved by the pre-talk
committee.
3. 2 copies of final thesis for this semester to be submitted to department office after
approval by pre-talk committee
6. The following color for cover page of thesis for different batches to be followed
VLSI Design: Light green (plain)
DSSP : Light blue (plain)
RF&ME : Cream (plain)
7. One blank sheet with chapter number & heading to be inserted before commencement
of each chapter.
8. Document Details:
8.1. One sided
8.2. 1.5 spacing
8.3. Font: Times New Roman(12)
8.4. Matter should be both side justified

9. In all the papers, starting from the synopsis to bibliography, the title of the project
should appear as header on right top corner with font size of 8 , page no. with font size
10 should be at right bottom and ‘ECE department, GITAM University’ should be at left
bottom with font size 8. (as in this doc)
10. Certificate from external guide in the official letter head of his/her firm to be enclosed
after GITAM University certificate.
12. Copies of reprints of the paper (related topic to the project work) published to be added
before bibliography.
12.1. If the paper is communicated but not yet accepted, only abstract to be attached
along with details of journal / conference etc.
12.2. If the paper is accepted but not published, only abstract to be attached along
with details of journal / conference etc.
12.3. If the paper is published full paper is to be attached.
