CHAPTER 17 : ON THE RUN

SUMMARY

Rory and Granda immediately began packing their things.Rory double checked that he had all
Granda’s medicine,clothes and food. He kept his ears alert for the sound af a police cars.Rory
then heard the police cars siren and quickly pulled granda into the nearby bushes.Tha police car
stopped at the entrance of the park,followed shortly by two more police cars.Rory was angry that
police were wasting their time searching for an old man and a boy when they could be looking
for criminals.Granda in a quivering voice,told Rory to run away so than he could surrender and
end up all this mess.Rory refused, he said either they surrender together or escape together.The
police bagan searching the site of the caravan.At that moment, a hand clamped around Rory’s
mouth.Rory panicked but saw it was the man that they had met that day.Another man clamped
granda’s mouth shut.Softly, the man told Rory that they were going to help Rory and Granda to
escape.

Example : Rory and granda were determined to run away from the police so the began to pack their
things immediately after Rory received message from Darren.

It is important for one to love their family members

Example : The bond of love between Rory and Granda made Granda to save his grandson from the
police by surrending himself but since Rory loves his Granda so he refused Granda from doing so and
asaid they were a team.
