Laguna Park picnic area in Moraga. On
the menu were delicious sandwiches

Debbie Roessler gave $5 because this
would have been her mother’s 97th
birthday. Debbie’s Mom passed away
several years ago.

this lovely picnic.

Moraga Rotary “Bring a Friend Day”
Don’t forget to bring a guest to the
October 19th noon meeting at La
Finestra. There will be a special musical
presentation by Caroline McCaskey,
president of the San Francisco Scottish
Fiddle Club and past Scottish Fiddle
Champion of Scotland – along with
Berkeley Rotarian/Fiddler, Pate
Thomson who is also a member of
SFSF. It should be lots of fun!
Let president Brian know ahead of time if
you plan to bring a guest so we can alert
Chef Jeff of the larger turnout. And
remind guests to bring their vaccination
cards.
Canyon Club Event – Wednesday,
October 20th @ 5:30 will be an evening
of entertainment and fundraising at
Canyon Club Brewery. This is a fund
raiser for our partner, Community
Violence Solutions. A portion of the
Canyon Club’s earnings will be donated.
So come and bring friends and family.
President Brian invited the Fab Five
Rotary clubs to attend so we will see our
neighboring Rotarians there…

Conference is coming up! October 29-
31. Our President Brian is giving a
presentation on international giving.

25th. We collected 1,650 pounds of
