TREE PLANTING ACTIVITY DESIGN

RATIONALE

Trees are planted for a lot of reasons and these includes planting trees to provide
shades, fruits, medicines, woods for crafts, fodder, fuel-woods, poles for constructions, etc.
Trees are also planted to act as windbreak, to stabilize soils and for aesthetic reasons.

New Janiuay Elementary School in coordination with the Barangay Local Government
Unit conducted a Tree Planting Activity for the conservation of natural resources of trees.

OBJECTIVES

1. To enhance community awareness for the conservation and stability.

2. To increase awareness on the protection and conservation of trees in the community

and in the school.

PARTICIPANTS

Barangay Council Teachers

METHODOLOGY

1. Gathering and preparation of seedlings.

2. Preparation of the site to be planted.

3. Pictures were taken during the tree planting for documentation purposes.
