Speaker
Positive: I found that the speaker’s
voice is pleasingly loud and has
confidence on her speech. There were
great use of facial expression and hand
gestures. Her tone has variation that
makes her delivery lively and
engaging. She looked so natural in
front of the camera and had a good

Positive: I applaud the great use of
visual effects. It was simple and
straightforward. It was categorized
properly and enough pictures were
shown. She even emphasized it using
hand gestures. Her overall way of
introducing her friend is also
commendable. It was complete with
flow of delivery, making her
grammatical mistakes barely
noticeable. She was speaking like it’s
an impromptu speech rather than a
scripted one. She also wore a casual
yet proper attire which made her look
prepared for the video and enthusiastic
to introduce her friend. Her glasses
were a simple accessory yet it made
her look articulate.
Interesting: I really found her delivery
so interesting. The way she did it so
effortlessly-seeming, with confidence,
and with great flow is fantastic.
Negative: The speaker could have
done more elaborate movements.
There were also grammatical
mistakes.

the positive sides of her, which made
the introduction more realistic.
Interesting: I found her script concise
without lacking information. It was
simple yet jam-packed with necessary
information about her friend.
Negative: There were times that she
was leaning on her right elbow which
made her look stiff and uninterested.
The graphics could have been made
clearer. She used colorful graphics on
top of a colorful background, making
it an eyesore and confusing to look at
for some.

Enrichment Activity: Creatively Introduce a Classmate

A. Video Performance

In a three-minute video, show us your most creative way of introducing a classmate in

class. Please be reminded that in your video, no reading of scripts is allowed. Though,
Pinoy English is inevitable, try to assimilate the language for a much higher score in
the performance. Video output shall be submitted on a class week after a month.

B. Writing the script

Have partner number 2 of your pair activity appointment as interviewee.
Interview your partner and make sure you draw out interesting facts about him
through your questions. Write the script of your video output in the doc file provided.
