Personal Essay
Personal Statement (under this section, provide your motivation for applying to the
Programme)

I was motivated when I first heard about the programme, indeed it is a programme that will
equip me with experience and exposure. A programme that will leave me with skills and
adequate knowledge on how to work in an organization and handle human resources and
human abilities. Since I graduated and through with my NYSC I have not worked in any
organization to get used to organizational office and administration work and management.

It will really help me to get use of human relation, team work, management and
administration as well as professional experiences. It will grant me access to team building,
relationships and funds to start an entrepreneurial business as my dream career.

It will expose me to affluence individuals since I will be deployed to an organization/firm. I

see it as an opportunity to sell my skills and expertise gained so far in my studies and
experiences in computer, management and leadership. I will be forever grateful if my
application is considered favourably.

Professional Experience Summary

I have a lot of experiences which I consider as a Profession. I have experience in Cyber

management, cyber security, Computer hardware and Software; I worked in a firm where I
have knowledge of Art and Printing. I have knowledge in Computers sales and accessories.

I have been a leader during my secondary and tertiary levels, which I consider as a
professional experience.

Future Plans Statement (here outline briefly what your future professional or career aspirations
are)

I aspire to be a future leader of this Nation, but firstly I want to contribute in the
management and economic sectors. I have a plan to future my education to Masters level
abroad where I can build relationships and leadership with scientists, academicians,
technologists, engineers, economists and people of affluence that will help and contribute
towards the development of my nation.

I see the Nigeria Jubilee Fellows Programme as an aid to further my education and
preparation to face my future without dread or fear. There are many hurdles to my future but
I believe this programme will put an end to some of them. It will help to actualize my dreams
and plans for the future. My future aspirations are in Leadership, Economic and
Management.

Please explain why you are interested in your chosen career field
The management and administration contribute immensely to the sustainability to Nigeria
Economy. So if Nigeria is gradually depreciating in economy and development is because the
management system is poor or corrupt.

So I choose to work in a Management Organization to discover the problems in our

Management system to come up with solutions in leadership and management. We can do
better if the management system is improved. It is a field that will leave me with adequate
knowledge and ideas on how to fight corruption and poor or bad management system.

I choose the field to have adequate knowledge and experience in the management system.
We can do better if management skills can be introduced like some programmes in ICT
system that manage people skills and take records on individual presents at work.
Introduction of skill acquisition programme or training that that will enhance Nigerians to be
more equipped in their expertise and skills.

We lack scientists and Technologies in our management system; this can be achieve by
acquiring adequate knowledge of it in training, seminar or conference meeting.  I will be
grateful if given this opportunity to gain experience in the area of Management.

How do you hope the support that you get from the NJFP will help you achieve your career
goals?
It will go a long way in achieving my career, by saving and investing the stipend given to me
monthly, by the end of the month I will receive the sum of 100,000 which I believe will save
up to 70,000 after my monthly expenses. By the end of 12 months it comes up to 840,000
which will enable me to apply for a scholarship abroad which I had earlier researched on how
to apply and get one.

There are exams like International English Language Testing System (IELTS) and Graduate
Record Examinations (GRE). I am going to enroll and optimistic by the end of it, I will come
