3D Blender water balancing text animation - Satrih

I was lucky that I found a great blender tutorial video entitled “Water Balancing Text

Animation”. The tutor was kind enough to mention every single detail of his Blender product

steps. He even mentioned the numbers when scaling, which was so helpful that it allowed me to

just watch the video and make notes for future practices without having to go back to the tutorial

video. So, I could work on my Blender project just by reading on my notes. It worked so well.

That Monday night, I noted like a hundred and fifty steps to produce a similar Blender

animation. I finished watching the video along with the noting around the middle of the night

and everything was perfect because I was not sleepy at all.

The next day, which was Tuesday, was a special Blender day for me. I was ready to

practice my Monday Blender notes. I learned many more new things about Blender that day such

as creating loop cuts to sharpen our object, working with UV sphere, using G key for dragging,

creating a text, working on animation and compositing screens, and lots more. It ran so smoothly

until the “baking” time when I saw something quite different on my screen with the one that I

saw on the video. It confused me so much that I thought I might have made a mistake from the

beginning like when I wheeled up and down my mouse or when I right or left clicked on

something or somewhere, I was not sure. I stopped for a moment and tried to regain my stable

emotion and energy to start over. Again, I was a bit frustrated about the directory for the fluid

object until I was aware enough to read a message on a text box on the saving bar on how to

delete the last fluid file so that it would not interfere with our other projects that use fluid. It was

also the time when I realized that the baking result appearance for the Blender version that I have

could be different from the Blender version that the tutor was using. Finally, it was the time to

render the video and it worked so well until the time I saved it into a video format. I began by

choosing an MPEG format and it turned out to be a DVD file while I was not having any

software application to play it. I was also confused of the file size that was too small for a video.

I tried to search for online video converter to convert my DVD file into an MP4 file. After

successfully installing it into my computer, I opened it and tried to add my DVD file to it but the

converter said to me that the DVD file could not be found. So, I tried to search for a DVD player.

I downloaded one and after finishing the installation, I tried to open the DVD file using that

software, but again, no luck! It was a bit frustrating and exhausting now. So, I thought it was the

right time to jump in our class social media group, Groupme TLT 460 to ask for suggestions or

recommendations. Kallie and Niloo were kind enough to respond. They were helpful to tell me

to try change the format into an avi and I tried it. Yeah, it worked, but another problem was

detected, which was about the length of my video that did not allow a complete play for all the

animation. I tried to save some more videos but the result was just the same, even though there

was like zero point something improvement sometimes, it was still far from better.

Until Thursday morning, I was still thinking of what was wrong about my Blender

animation video. The only idea that had been bothering me since that Tuesday night was that

perhaps I should finish the animation rendering. So, I tried it. I was still thinking of saving

another video file while the animation rendering was still working and trying to delete the last

video file that I saved, but it did not work, it just said that the deleting process could not be

completed because it was opening on Blender. I did not even try to understand why it said so,

until the animation rendering done and I was about to save another video file while trying to

delete the last file and here was the time I realized that the animation rendering that I was doing

just now was being recorded in that last file. I saw that the file size had changed from just 195 kb

into 29.2 mb and it was a wow!!! I was so happy and excited for that.
