Grammar Focus: Singular and Plural Nouns


Directions: Write the plural for each singular noun. Words that end
in: -s, -sh, -ch, or –x require “es” endings.

The prefix “mis-” means “bad” or “wrong”. For


example: miscalculate means to calculate
incorrectly. Read each sentence, highlight the
word with the suffix and write a definition.
