Step-by-step troubleshooting

Before starting this troubleshooting procedure, make sure that the CCC and ACH-WW
software are updated to the latest status.

To avoid internal pollution of the auxiliary heater, switch ON the auxiliary heater once
a month for about 15 min.
For further information refer to the Driver's manual.

Step 1 - Check the exhaust gas temperature and CO2 values

Action
1. Clean the auxiliary heater and auxiliary heater exhaust pipe according to job (clean internal heater, Thermo Top
Pro 38 (Pre-heater water)).
2. Check and adjust the CO2 settings, according to job (adjust exhaust emission heater, Thermo Top Pro 38 (Pre-
heater water)).
3. After adjusting the CO2, monitor the auxiliary heater [Exhaust gas temperature] with DAVIE.

Is the [Exhaust gas temperature] lower than 350°C?

YES NO

Go to step 2 Go to step 1B

Step 1B - Replace the auxiliary heater burner

Action
1. Replace the auxiliary heater burner.
2. Check and adjust the CO2 settings, according to job (adjust exhaust emission heater, Thermo Top Pro 38 (Pre-
heater water)).
3. After adjusting the CO2, monitor the auxiliary heater [Exhaust gas temperature] with DAVIE.

Is the [Exhaust gas temperature] lower than 350°C?

YES NO

Go to step 2 Go to step 1A

Step 2 - Clear the DTCs

1. Clear the DTCs.

2. Start up the auxiliary heater and let it run for about 15 min.
3. If DTCs are still ACTIVE, troubleshoot the ACTIVE DTCs.

Did any DTCs set (again)?

YES NO

Troubleshoot the ACTIVE DTCs Repair complete.
