Based on the topic on the nature of the human person, answer the following questions: 

1. What were the bases of the pre-Socratic philosophers to reject myths and legends as bases of their beliefs?

They rejected the traditional mythological explanations of the phenomena they saw around them in favor of more rational explanations

2. Compare and contrast the philosophies of Socrates, Plato and Aristotle about the nature of man.

Socrates spoke about of the human being, he believed in being just and everything has a role to play, and must play it well enough while Plato gave a lot of
importance to the soul of the human than its body

3. What is your understanding of Rene Descartes famous phrase when he said "cogito ergo sum" I think, therefore I exist in relation to understanding the
nature human person? .

- that we think a thing that proofs that we are alive
