The diagram shows the numbers of cases of female, male and unknown sex physically abused in

the period 2007-2013.

It shows how there is a general increase in victims affected with a total of 1,420 women and
1,317 men. However, when analyzed annually, we can see a relatively constant increase in both
sexes, except in the 2009-2010 period where there was a slight decrease in reported cases, with
women being the most affected.

On the other hand, the victims of unknown sex show a fluctuation of the cases in the six years of
study.
