ACCEPTANCE OF APPLICATION FOR THE VACANT POSITION FOR

MASTER TEACHER I – ELEMENTARY (SG 18)

1. This Office announces the acceptance of applicants for Master Teacher I –

Elementary (SG 18). The Human Resource Merit Promotion and Selection
Board (HRMPSB) shall use MEC Order No. 10, s. 1979 – “Implementation
Rules and Regulations for the System of Career Progression for Public School
Teachers.”, DECS ORDER NO. 57, S. 1997 – “Further Implementation of the
Career Progression System for Master Teacher”, and the Regional
Memorandum No. 434 s. 2017 – Internal Guidelines for the Implementation
of DepEd Order No. 66, s. 2007, DepEd Order No. 42, s. 2007, and DECS
Order No. 57, s. 1997.

2. The Department of Education SDO Lucena City adheres to the existing general
policy of no discrimination based on gender identity, sexual orientation,
disabilities, religion and / or indigenous group membership in the
implementation of its Merit Selection and Promotion Plan.

3. School Heads are required to inform and assist ALL QUALIFIED PERMANENT
TEACHERS to apply for Master Teacher I position to be ready with their
documents and submit applications for ranking purposes.

4. All interested and qualified applicants shall submit the following pertinent
documents, arranged in accordance with the list below. Use tab/dividers for
easy assessment and evaluation of documents, to wit:
a. Letter of intent to the Schools Division Superintendent
b. Fully accomplished Personal Data Sheet Revised 2017
c. Performance Rating for the last three years periods (duly signed by
the Ratee, Rater and Approving Authority)
• S.Y. 2020 – 2021
• S.Y. 2019 – 2020
• S.Y. 2018 - 2019
d. Photocopy of latest Appointment

For Complete Academic Requirements (CAR), a certification from the
school should be specific that the applicant has completed academic
requirements for the course enrolled, Original Copy
h. Diploma authenticated by the School/University
i. Photocopy of updated License/Proof of eligibility authenticated by
PRC or CSC
j. Certification from School Head with date that the applicant has an
actual teaching load per day with attached current Teacher’s/Class
Program signed by authorized authorities:
• Six (6) Actual Teaching Load; or
• Minimum of Four (4) Actual Teaching load with One (1)
Ancillary and One (1) Advisory; or
• Minimum of Five (5) Actual Teaching Load with One (1)

veracity, accuracy, and authenticity of all submitted documents

6. The Cut-off Score for promotion of Master Teacher I is 40.

7. Interested and Qualified applicants shall submit their pertinent papers to

Records Unit on or before October 7, 2021 only. Application documents
submitted after the due date will no longer be accepted nor entertained.
