 UNIT 1

AXL ROSE

Axl Rose was born on February 6, 1962 in the city of Lafayette Indiana, EEUU. His real name is
William Bruce Bailey. Since he was a child he showed a great interest in music. At 5 years old, He
sang in the church choir and he also played the piano, had great success around the world in the
late 1980s, and early 1990s.

Axl Rose was the controversial lead singer of the rock band Guns n 'Roses and still today, a
great icon in the world of music. His rise to fame as a vocalist continues to inspire millions of people
and his songs without a doubt, had memorable successes thanks to his voice only.

His childhood was very difficult. His biological father abused him. Later, his mother separated and
found a new partner, but the situation did not improve. your stepfather used to drink and he was
very hard on Axl. For many years he believed that he was his real father, until he found out that
there was no kinship between them. That was how he decided to change his last name by that of
Rose.

In the 80's, founded with his friend Izzy Stradlin a group called hollywood rose and they went to
California thinking of becoming famous. It was there that they met another group, L. A. Guns, who
also played rock. Both joined and that's how the Guns n’ Roses.

Axl and made famous by his tone of voice strident, so much so that it's even inside e the list of the
100 best vocalists of rock of all times.

Guns N´roses was nominated many times and on several occasions, From 1989 to 1993 Guns N´roses
was nominated for American Music Awards, for the Grammy Awards, MTV video music awards and
the World music awards on 20 occasions and they won 9 awards.

April 14, 2012 they entered the Hall of Rock Fame. In 1990 Guns N´roses I win the best artist of the
Hard rock / Heavy Metal and in this same year his disk ppetite for Destruction was the winner of
best album of Hard rock / Heavy Metal. And the well-known song of sweet child O´Mine was also a
winner as best easy Pop / Rock in 1989.
 UNIT 2

yesterday I did the following activities

1. About 6 am go to work while having a coffee to start the day.

2. He was not in the office where he worked, because I work from home because of the
pandemic

3. Was performing work activities.

4. I went out to lunch, what would you have for lunch?

5. Coming back from lunch I did not continue working, since my hours are from 6 am to 2
pm

6. Later I was doing university work

7. At night enter classes, at the end I continued doing the work of the
college
