1. Overview
Please ensure you have initialized the Rangersapplog SDK to connect third-party attribution
partners.
1. Data Connection
Create a Push API in AppsFlyer and configure address provided by DataFinder that allows you to
set up automated callbacks via an integration to receive activations, advertising channels,
device information etc at DataFinder.
2. Attribution
Data sent by AppsFlyer includes the click time (i.e. The time when a device was used to click on
an ad). However, as DataFinder can also be used to monitor other advertising channels
DataFinder will recalculate reattibution based on data it received from all channeels using
last_click attribution.
This means that after receiving callbacks from all third-party attribution partners, DataFinder
will conduct the attribution analysis for all channels using the last_click time (i.e. Only the last
click on the ad prior to activation will be attributed).
For example, if a user clicks on an ad 3 times before activation, the click distribution and
attribution results will be as follows:

Fill out your App name and AppID for iOS or Android.
⚠️Note:
1. You should connect either iOS or Android AppID. We support connecting of multiple

the same application.
2. If you delete an existing AppID, DataFinder will no longer receive any data related to the
AppID.
3. Get Address
After connecting AppsFlyer's AppID, DataFinder will immediately create an address which can be
used to send the data through AppsFlyer's Push API.
3. Ad Tracking Analysis
For both Device Analysis, and Anti Spam Analysis features, the data pushed by AppsFlyer will
still be included, and it can still be queried or displayed in groups according to the advertising
dimension mapping stated in the "Naming Convention" section above.
AppsFlyer data will be included in "Device Analysis", "Anti Spam Analysis" and "Media Source
Analysis". Refer to "Naming Convention" section above for further details on the data fields
naming differences between AppsFlyer and DataFinder.
3.FAQ
1. Why are there differences in the attribution data for Facebook between DataFinder and
AppsFlyer?
Answer: When DataFinder receives the data sent by AppsFlyer, it will take out the click time and
calculate attribution again taking into account the data received by other channels using
last_click. For details, please refer to the "Attribution" section of this article.
