Learning Episode 8

Analysis

All parents and other education stakeholders have distinctive roles and responsibilities
to the child but what are their roles before the Covid- 19 pandemic and during this new normal.
Is there a difference?

The roles of parents before the Covid 19 and during this new normal have a difference
because the parents before are only taking care of their children, give allowances, send them to
school, follow up them about their weaknesses and strengths on their studies as well as helping
their children to do their assignment but today in the new normal parents are the first teachers
to teach their children on their school activities and they serve as temporary replacement of
the teacher. Then, other education stakeholders their roles before and today are different
because teachers before will teach the students and preparing their lessons everyday but today
they will supervise, instruct, guide, support, monitor the learning progress and add information
if the parents have some difficulties on the learning instructions and activities. In addition, all of
the school heads before conduct classroom observation to assess the learning progress of the
learners as well as the teaching method of the teachers but today they facilitate and guide the
teachers to deliver their learning instruction effectively.

Indeed! The parents and other education stakeholders roles had a little changes but
they do their best and responsibility in order to provide productive and quality education to
their children and to the students.
