• Since 2015, MGNREGS and ICDS have

converged to construct Anganwadi Centres

• The designs / specifications issued by the

Ministry of Women and Child Development
are adhered to in the construction of these
Anganwadi Centres. Madhya Pradesh

• As per convergence guidelines, the

construction cost of AWC is shared between
MGNREGS (upto Rs. 5.00 lakh) and the
Integrated Child Development Scheme (ICDS)
(Rs. 2.00 lakh).
