humans, from their biological and evolutionary history, to the ways of life and
customs they follow.

5. Explain social dynamics as social, political, and cultural change.

Culture, Society, and Politics have one common aspects, they are
dynamic and changes are constant. They are never static, and their
dynamism is due to the changing needs of humans as they interpret and
survive in their environment. As we interact to various people, we will try to
reflect and sometimes imitate their actions as we perceived them as good.
If we tried it and shared it to others, it will become the new norm of our
group. That is the reason as to why sociodynamics is an integral factor in
changes that are happening in the community. In the context of social
changes, cultural transfer causes shift as cultural factors spread through
commerce, migration, and mass contact from one culture to another. In
addition, changes in the civil and political societies, as well as the shifts in
demographics, also affects some changes in Politics. Social dynamics also
affects the culture to shift as they are considered as an external factor that
changes the values of certain population or group.

D. Write a short essay on what constitutes our sociality as human beings?

“No man is an island.”

This is a quote that we are all aware of. It just means that every people
cannot isolate themselves forever, they need to be part of a community in order to
survive. We humans are all social animals, according to Aristotle, everyone needs
to participate in the society in order to live. We are all interdependent with one
another, that we created groups and communities called society that has accepted
norms and standards called culture and a system of leadership called politics. As
human beings, we will be incomplete and not thrive without sociality. This is an
integral part of our innate nature as social creatures.

There is this natural urge in all of us humans to find social groups. It will
start in our family, the basic foundation of the society. As human beings, we will
learn to adapt their values and beliefs in this small community. Humans needs to
feel the sense of affiliation with something in order to be whole. These groups of
people are great influencers for our beliefs and ideals. Plato believed that our soul
is the reflection of the society, and the it will only achieve harmony if there are
classes or divisions. That is the main idea of sociality, being grouped together with
a goal to create an ordered and progressive society. When we grow and mature,
we became aware in joining different communities based on our interests and
skills.

Human beings are defined as quasi-social, means that we exist and

cooperate with a group of people. We think of the good of ourselves, but also
consider the welfare of others. It is inculcated in our heart to be part of a group in
order to have sense and purpose. We are incomplete without other people, and
we cannot thrive and survive with ourselves alone. Together, with one simple goal
and mission, all individuals in a society must strive in order to achieve order and
prosperity.
