Chapter V

Summary, Findings, Conclusions, and Recommendation

This chapter discusses the summary of findings in conducting the study as well as

the conclusion and recommendation.

Summary

One crucial variable that directly impacts the quality of learning acquisition

among learners is the scarcity of equipment and facilities that aid in the reinforcement of

knowledge and skills. The quality of a school’s environment and its facilities has a strong

influence on students’ learning process. However, despite of having quality education in

Liceo de Luisiana they encounter such problems with regards to its facilities and

equipment. This study intends to analyze the scarcity of equipment and facilities of Liceo

de Luisiana in terms of comfort rooms, canteen, science laboratory, clinic, and home

economics room. The researchers conducted a survey with 298 randomly selected

students as the respondents using proportionate stratified random sampling technique.

The result says that the equipment and facilities of Liceo de Luisiana are needed an

improvement. To improve the facilities and equipment of Liceo de Luisiana, the

researchers makes a project plan in order to improve the facilities and equipment. Project

plan includes organizing workflow, time management and scheduling using (Program

Evaluation Review Technique (PERT), Critical Path Method (CPM)), and costing. This

project plan is the solution for the scarcity of equipment and facilities of Liceo de

Luisiana. And this plan will serve as the guide and standards towards the improvement.

Conclusions

1. Based on the findings, the researchers have come up with the conclusion below:

The result shows that the students are experiencing lack of equipment and

facilities including the materials and resources to the facilities of Liceo de

Luisiana in terms of comfort rooms, canteen, science laboratory, clinic, and home

economics room. Hence, students were dissatisfied with the facilities provided by

Liceo de Luisiana.

2. The proposed project plan will improve the facilities of Liceo de Luisiana and

subsequently increase the level of satisfaction of the students. Once the project

plan have been implemented it will have big impact to the student’s learning

process

Recommendations

The following recommendation of the researchers will help the school of Liceo de

Luisiana, teachers, staffs, students, as well as the future researchers.

1. The researchers recommend to implement various kinds of fundraising activities

which will be in collaboration with the students and APTA.

2. Gradual planning, meeting and coordinating with the persons involved with the

proposed project plan.

3. Implementation of project plan and renovation of each facility in gradual phase

according to the financial status of Liceo de Luisiana.

4. After all the facilities have been renovated and improved future researchers may

use this as their reference for continuous improvement and development of Liceo
