1. Do you believe in the neo-Malthusian argument? Why?


Yes, because population control is a must. If there will be no population control
then our world will be scarce and in the end, we, people will be the ones who will suffer.
There are lots of factors to population control like education and welfare. Research things
about developed countries and you’ll see that birth rates are decreased. Education on
women and men or giving them programs like the Family planning will surely decreased
their 12 children plan to 2-4 children only and will also cause them to have a much better
livelihood. I am not saying that having lots of children is bad, it’s just that make sure in
the end you all will not suffer then just leave them to orphanages or any places.

2. How can technology and interventions in development offset the pressures of population
growth?
The modernization era has given us lots of benefits like on reducing the risk of
unplanned pregnancies that will lead the parents of this baby to just end the life of this
human or just leave them anywhere after birth. There are birth control options now that
was made through technologies and innovations like on the field of medicine this are the
pills, condoms, and injectable contraceptives. With this things, population growth will
now be on control and no longer be on pressures.

3. Under what circumstances is rapid population growth beneficial to societies?


Many believe population growth has positive effects on societies. These include
economic benefits such as expansion of tax bases and increased consumer spending at
local businesses, as well as innovations by cultures seeking to keep up with growing
populations.

4. Is it important to give special health care attention to women?


Yes, it is important because women represent the cornerstone of a family’s overall
health, ensuring they have access to quality care also can lead to improved health for
children and families.

5. What is the role of innovation in combating food shortage?


This is to produce high nutrient staple crops that can combat malnutrition,
