If you meet one of the pathways below, you may register for the

Neurocritical Care (NCC) Exam in your ABA portal account.

I am certified in neurocritical care by the UCNS or CAST

I have completed a UCNS, CAST or other non-accredited neurocritical

care fellowship

I have documented one of the following (based on 40-hour week):

Average of at least 17% of my post-training clinical practice time spent

practicing neurocritical care (at least 7 hours/week) for the past 6 years*

Average of at least 25% of my post-training clinical practice time spent

practicing neurocritical care (at least 10 hours/week) for the past 4 years*

Average of at least 33% of my post-training clinical practice time spent

practicing neurocritical care (at least 13 hours/week) for the past 3 years*

Average of at least 50% of my post-training clinical practice time spent

practicing neurocritical care (at least 20 hours/week) for the past 2 years*

I am an academic program director, administrator or researcher:

Average of at least 25% of my total post-training professional time spent
in the practice of neurocritical care (at least 10 hours/week) for the past 4
years
