 RULES & REGULATIONS

1. REGISTRATION FORM:
 TWO TYPES OF FORM: FOR FRESH PLAYERS & FOR ALREADY REGISTERED PLAYERS
FRESH PLAYERS FORM: ARE THOSE PLAYERS WHO ARE NOT REGISTERED WITH BCCI/SICA OR NOT
REPRESENT SICA TEAM IN NATIONALS.
ALREADY REGISTERED PLAYERS: ARE THOSE PLAYERS WHO ARE REGISTERED WITH SICA & BCCI FROM
2019-20 SEASON TILL LAST SEASON. LIST IS ATTACHED BELOW.
 HOW TO FILL UP THE REGISTRATION FORM.
 FURNISHING OF INCORRECT INFORMATION/SUPPRESSION OF INFORMATION WOULD LEAD TO
REJECTION OF THE APPLICATION
 MANIPULATING OF DOCUMENTS / SUBMISSION OF FUDGE DOCUMENTS: BCCI WILL BANNED THE
PLAYER FOR 2 (TWO) YEARS AND IN ADDITION SICA WILL BANNED THE SAME PLAYERS FOR 3 (THREE)
YEARS. HE/SHE HAVE TO SERVED A TOTAL BANNED OF 5 (FIVE) YEARS.
 THE PRESIDENT AND SECRETARY OF RESPECTIVE DISTRICT SHALL ENSURE THAT ALL DOCUMENTS ARE
FINALLY VERIFIED AND APPROVED

2. SCRUTINY OF DOCUMENTS:

BIRTH QUALIFICATION: A MEMBER WITHIN THOSE JURISDICTION HE/SHE BORN

BONAFIDE EMPLOYEMENT/EDUCATION QUALIFICATION:

The BCCI DOMESTIC SEASON 2021-2022 STARTS FROM 1ST OF SEPTEMBER 2021 AND HENCE A
CRICKETER TO BE ELIGIBLE AS A LOCAL PLAYER SHOULD BE WORKING/STUDYING/RESIDING IN YOUR
JURISDICTION OF THAT ASSOCIATION FOR A YEAR I.E. HE/SHE SHOULD HAVE BEEN
WORKING/STUDYING IN YOUR JURISDICTION SINCE 01.09.2019.

EMPLOYEMENT/EDUCATION.

I. EMPLOYEMENT: EMPLOYER CERTIFICATE ALONG WITH TWELVE MONTHS SALARY SLIP

(STARTING FROM SEPTEMBER 2020)
BANK STATEMENT FROM 01.09.2019 TILL DATE OF ONLINE REGISTRATION FOR A PARTICULAR
TOURNAMENT HE/SHE INTENDS TO REPRESENT THE ASSOCIATION, SHOWING SALARY
CREDITED TO HIS/HER ACCOUNT BY THE CONCERNED
EMPLOYER/COMPANY/ORGANISATION/INSTITUTION.
NOTE: HE/SHE NEEDS TO SUBMIT HIS/HER EMPLOYER CERTIFICATE & BANK STATEMENT
EVERY YEAR/EVERY SEASON.
 II. EDUCATION: SCHOOL/COLLEGE MARKSHEET FOR THE ACADEMIC YEAR 2020-21 & 2021- 22
WHICH SHOULD BE AUTHENTICATED BY PRINCIPAL
AND
BONAFIDE CERTIFICATE SIGNED BY PRINCIPAL ON THE LETTER-HEAD OF THAT CONCERNED
SCHOOL/COLLAGE MENTIONING ADMISSION NUMBER, DATE OF ADMISSION, DATE OF BIRTH
IN SCHOOL/COLLAGE RECORDS AND THE ACADEMIC CLASS STUDYING IN CURRENTLY.

III. CHILDREN OF GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES/PUBLIC SECTOR EMPLOYEES.

a) BCCI HAVE RELAXED THE 1-YEAR RULE LAID DOWN BY BCCI FOR A CRICKETER TO BE
CONSIDER AS A LOCAL PLAYER FOR CHILDREN OF GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES/PUBLIC
SECTOR EMPLOYEES ON TRANSFER, SUBJECT TO SUBMISSION OF THE PARENT’S
TRANSFER ORDER.
b) PLEASE NOTE, THIS ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATION RULE WILL BE CONSIDERED, ONLY
IF, THAT PARTICULAR PLAYER’S PARENTS ARE TRENSFERRED ON A GOVERNMENT
JOB/PUBLIC SECTOR JOB IN THE JURISDICTION OF THAT ASSOCIATION WHICH THE
PLAYER INTENDS TO REPRESENT.
IV. CUTT OFF DATE FOR 2020-21 SEASON:
UNDER-16: SHOULD BE BORN ON OR AFTER 01.09.2005
UNDER-19: SHOULD BE BORN ON OR AFTER 01.09.2002
UNDER-23: SHOULD BE BORN ON OR AFTER 01.09.1998

c) REGISTRATION FORM (FOR FRESH PLAYERS) AND DOCUMENTS (ORIGINAL) TO BE
VERIFIED AND SIGNED BY SCRUTINY COMMITTEE & ALSO FRESH PLAYERS NEED TO
AFFIX COPY OF THEIR DOCUMENTS WITH THE REGISTRSTION FORM.
d) FOR ALREADY REGISTERED PLAYERS, THEY ONLY NEEDS TO SUBMIT THEIR
REGISTRATION FORM.
e) AFTER THE SCRUTINY COMMITTEE SCRUTINIZE, THE PRESIDENT / HON.SECRETARY OF
DISTRICT ASSOCIATION HAVE TO SIGN THE REGISTRATION FORM AND SUBMIT IT TO
SICA HEAD OFFICE.
