    MEKANIKAL & PEMBUATAN

    TEKNOLOGI PERKAKASAN MESIN

    BMMM2323 SEMESTER 1 SESSION 2021/2022

    SYNOPSIS
    Students in a group of 2 will be assigned for reviewing, reporting, and summarizing their
    literature studies on relevant topics of Machine Tools Technology. In this regard, minimum
    THREE (3) articles (i.e. journal, proceeding, annual report, report, and magazine) are
    required. In doing so, students are able to further understand the application of theories
    learned. Select ONLY one simple product and avoid redundancy with your colleague.
    Students are advised to use UTeM e-proxy to get the journals. Individual titles by each
    group of each section to prevent plagiarism. Full 10 marks will be granted for a good
    report. Please submit your report to your lecturer (AP. Ir. Dr. Mohamad Bin Minhat) for
    marking purposes.

    TASKS
    1- Select a simple product (one) with ONLY TWO (2) machining technologies in
    the subject chapters TURNING and MILLING only.
    2- Create your own original machining Process Flow Chart (PFC).
    3- List the machines technical specifications and equipment’s notes, appropriate
    jigs and fixtures, appropriate utility and facility, manufacturing assembly’s
    processes, and/or costing engaged to complete the product.
    4- Provide reports with required contents.

    FORMAT OF THE REPORT


    Maximum no. of pages: 10 pages (inclusive of minimum 4 Figures & 4 Tables).
    Spacing: 1.5. Neat Handwritten is appreciated. If type-written, please avoid cut/copy-
    and-paste work activities unless cited or referred.
