MYP Personal Project

Objective A: Planning
ii: Success Criteria

As you think about the outcome (what you want to ‘create’) of your personal
project, it is a good idea to plan what it will be like. This means that you will
have to describe in detail the idea you have conceived in your head, so that
your supervisor and anyone who reads about your project knows what your
product looks like, feels like, sounds like, and is for.

The detail instrument that will help you do this is referred to as CRITERIA for
success. The features of the criteria you will create depend on the product
you will produce. For example, take a look at the features someone may
consider if their personal project outcome is:

A song A book A video

Let’s imagine you decide to produce a book for your personal project. How
can you develop assessment criteria that will help you understand when you
have been successful?
