REFLECTION ON THE LIFE AND MISSION OF MARY, MOTHER OF JESUS AND

MOTHER IGNACIA DEL ESPIRITU SANTO

After watching the movie about the life of our Mother Mary, is that I gained a lot
of lessons thus I reflected myself in seeing that a mother’s love for her children will
never be compared to anyone. As our mother Mary conceived by the Holy Spirit, she
was dedicated and continue to live her life along with God’s grace without hesitation
hence she was proudly to say that she was a handmade of the Lord together with
Joseph her husband. She was truly an inspiration among us all, though she
experienced a lot of challenges throughout her life but instead to give up, she continue
to face the struggles upon the cruelty of their Kingdom. Even though her son Jesus was
condemned in an execution she will never left and felt her son being alone thus she was
right at by his side showing her undying love until Jesus was crucified. Mother Mary’s
mission was also to served God and accept the truth which she enable to give her life
serving to the Lord. Her mission was to born Jesus the son of the God and spreading
the good news throughout the world for us to have faith and be with his salvation
towards the reunited of the humanity in entering the Kingdom of God.

Furthermore, I realized that the sacrifices of our Mother Mary shows significance
in our personation. As what I’ve seen right now, our mother’s stands like Mother Mary
who will give all the love for her children, and I never doubted that my mother is just like
her. Mother Mary molds a lot of humankind seeing her deeds just to keep her son
beloved and so the world. In addition, I also learned that we should always love our
mother as they enlightened us throughout the darkness that we experience, we should
seek forgiveness all the time knowing the struggles that our mothers facing just to
provide the needs of us and we should be thankful as they shows the love for us in
enable to care and protect among us her children.
 My reflection about the life and mission of Mother Ignacia del Espiritu Santo, is
that the most striking mission of her was to fight for the rights in equality of treatment in
one society thus she shows courage in order to achieve the good life that they want.
Mother Ignacia’s life was complicated at all, she wanted to enter the Beatro as she felt
the calling to serve God Jesus Christ. Moreover, she struggled in facing her darkest
challenges in life though she conquered to overcome it. As she became a Beatas,
Mother Ignacia proposed to build an organization for Yndias womens in worshiping and
serving God though they experienced poverty together while their primary motto is that
engaging their life in chastity, poverty and obedience. Mother Ignacia worried about
their life as seeing that there is no progress upon they are being not given an
importance to the society hence they engaged themselves in a penance. They reached
different cities just to find food and beg for any kind of contributions. I must say that their
life from that time was very cruel in seeing them being trampled among the Spanish
people. As Mother Ignacia became the leader of their organization she wrote a law that
could change their life into a better situation. Those laws written by her gives foundation
to them as it is their basis of being righteousness and essence, though they are some
brutality that still occurs in their land that they are afraid of, still they all stand and
together they believe that they can fight the struggles that was given to them.
Afterwards, Mother Ignacia passed away, her fellow Beatas still fighting for the
acceptance and equality until they achieve that.

Mother Ignacia was became a role model of all women’s thus she shows
courageous deeds upon the cruelty of her time. I believe that Mother Ignacia’s
foundation has significance in our life thus it provides essentials in our daily living. In
addition, Mother Ignacia strengthens women thus she shows women empowerment and
promoting the beauty of diversity in harmonizing the relationship with others, she also
shows camaraderie as she build an organization and the love to have faith in Jesus
Christ our father in heaven. Mother Ignacia became a remarkable women in our hearts
where she exemplified her life and faith to serve God.
