I. OBJECTIVES: By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to:


1. Knowledge:
a. Vocabulary: learn some words related to music and arts
b. Grammar: know some adjectives used to describe types of music
2. Competences: 
- read for specific information about traditional arts
- talk about a type of music/art they like
3. Qualities:
- be more interested in music and arts
- be proud of the Vietnamese traditional arts

I/ PRE- READING : (7’)
Students can brainstorm types of music and arts

TV and asks Ss to watch some pictures about
different types of art
Ss: - Work in groups to write down the types
of art they see on the screen (T may show the
pictures again if necessary)
- Give the answers
T. gets feedback and may give students more
information about certain type(s) of arts if
possible

+ Discuss the questions below with a partner.
