Naming

We all name our experience “crisis”, “bad as usual”, “a great challenge” are
names you might give to things that happen.

Pick a recent upsetting experience. Describe it in a few words.

 My friends invited me to sleep over but my mother wouldn't let me because of the
pandemic so I was mad at her. I felt guilty because that's why she didn't allow me
because it was also for my safety.

Is there a positive name you could give it? (learning experiences, chance to change,
etc.)
 In my observation I found out that I improve my learning skills and I am no longer
childish as before.

List the names you gave to five recent experiences, good or bad.
 I’m getting a high grades in this school year.
 My mother and father is a covid19 positive.
 After a few weeks my mother and father recovered and now they are getting
stronger.
 I met new friends in my new school they are kind and friendly.
 These months I feel like I don't belong to my old friends anymore.

If they happened to someone else, what other positive names could you give them?
 Be contended and cheerful, just let things happen because it's a challenge for us.

Letting Go
You often must let go of dreams, people or parts of your life. Letting go allows
you to get on with your life when something is over.

Write down two things you need to let go of.

 I need to let go of my side of being immature and overthinking because it doesn't
help me and this will also destroy my mental health.
 Being that I lack my self -confidence because I always get discouraged about
everything and I also always let myself down so that’s where I start to overthink..

Imagine that each one is really going out of your life. How do you feel? (sad, angry,
relieved, etc.)
 If that thing would happened I think I can be a better version of my self.

Who can you tell about your feelings?

 If there is one person I can trust and share my feelings with, it’s my cousin
because since childhood we have been together and we grew up in the same house
she is also my friend.

What advice would you give to someone who is in your situation?

 We can learn in our mistakes and those mistakes can make us stronger just don’t
let your guard down, believe in yourself.
Belief and Faith

Self-talk reflects our belief in who we are or in the universe. A positive faith
can help during stressful times.

Name 10 positive things you believe in about yourself, others, or the universe. If
you can’t think of 10 beliefs, you can ask other people for theirs.
 I trust myself more than anyone else.
 I’m independent person
 I followed my heart
 I treat others the way I wanted to be treated.
 I love challenges
 I make great decision
 I accept all my mistakes
 I always respect people whether old or young.
 I look for positivity in all things
 I am proud of myself

Describe a recent experience and how you used one of these beliefs to help you.

first before what I want.
