STRESS LEVEL AMONG PUBLIC SCHOOL TEACHERS IN MAASIM DISTRICT 1

DURING THE PANDEMIC: BASIS FOR A PROPOSED

INTERVENTION PROGRAM

1.1 General Statement of the Problem

This study aims to determine the degree of stress experienced by public school teachers in

Maasim District 1 during the pandemic, which will serve as the foundation for a suggested

intervention program for the school year 2021-2022.

1.2 Specific Problems or Sub-Problems

Specifically, the following sub-questions are being investigated by the researcher.

1. What was the degree of stress among Maasim District 1 public school teachers during the

pandemic?

2. What is the proposed intervention approach, based on the findings, to address the stress

level among public school teachers in Maasim District 1 during the pandemic?

Figure 1 Conceptual Framework of the Study

The purpose of this study is to determine whether there is a link between a teacher's profile

and their stress level during a pandemic. In the conceptual framework, the researcher used input,

process, and output methods. Teachers' profiles and stress levels are included in the data. The guided

questionnaire, as well as frequency, mean, and percentage, are in the works, while the intervention

program is the product.

1.4 Describe the research design (what type?) in detail.

'The researcher will do descriptive research, specifically descriptive-correlative research.'

1.5 Determine the target demographic. The target demographic is Maasim District 1 Public

Elementary School Teachers, or the researcher can use a different sampling strategy.

1.6 Provide the sample size for male and female teachers if the total population is 550, 200 men, and

350 females, respectively. (Note: the data is fictitious.)

The researcher should obtain 30% of the overall teacher population. So there are 165 teachers out of

550, with female teachers accounting for 63% of the 550 and male teachers accounting for 37 percent.

As a result, 63% of 550 equals 104 females, and 37% of 200 equals 61. So we have 104 female

teachers and 61 male teachers in our sample.

7.1 Specific Research Design

During the pandemic, the researcher will utilize Diagnostic Research Design to determine the

stress level among public school teachers in Maasim District 1. The respondents' stress levels will be

determined, and a proposed intervention program will be developed.

7.2 Target Population

The target population of the study are the public-school teachers of Maasim District 1 who

are in active service since the break out of pandemic.

7.3 If the total population is 550,220 male teachers and 350 females, respectively, kindly present

the sample size for the male and female teachers.(Note: The data are only artificial.)

The study will be completed at 95% accuracy, and the number of teachers by gender is listed

below.

Gender Public school teachers in Sample of the Study

Maasim 1 District
Male 200 84
Female 350 147
Total 550 231

The table shows, that the researcher will interview 231 public school instructors in Maasim

District 1, with 54 male teachers and 147 female teachers.

7.4 Discuss your strategy in gathering the Data.

The following is the researcher's data collection procedure:

1. Appointment letter to perform the research.

2. Contact the respondent.

3. Describe your goal to the respondent.

4. Distribute the questionnaires via an internet platform.

5. Gather information for analysis.
