1. Why am I taking this class?

As far as I know, Design of Experiment is a systematic method to improve any design or

process. It helps us to analyze how different parameters affect the process. I have taken
this class to learn this method so that I can make good decision for design or process
improvement in my future research career.

2. What do I hope to learn in this class?

I hope I will learn the experimental design method precisely so that I can apply this tool
to make the proper decision in improving product design or process.

3. What experiences have I had with Design of Experiment?

Particularly, I have little experience with DoE. There was a course named product design
in my undergraduate where I first familiarized with experimental design. Then in my job
life, I used different cause and effect diagram, quality control chart, etc. for analyzing
various problems.

4. What experience have I had with online learning?

It is my first experience with online learning. I am very much excited and hopeful that I
will gather enough knowledge through the online learning system.
