STEP-8: Create a virtual hard drive

STEP-9: Start the operating system installation. 

STEP-10: Install the operating system. After selecting the installation media, the
operating system installation will begin. Installation proceeds the same way it would as if you
were installing the operating system on a regular computer.

INSTALLING THE UBUNTU IN VIRTUAL BOX

STEP-1: Ubuntu Virtual machine will start in a separate window.

STEP-2: Machine will boot from selected ISO and you will see language
option. Choose your preferred language and press Enter.

STEP-3: On next screen, ubuntu will give you a checklist and you will be asked if you
need to update during install.

STEP-5: Select your time zone from the map, then click “Continue.”

STEP-6: Click “Continue” to keep the default keyboard layout or choose your desired one.
