My Life Lessons:

Smiling:
I always try to smile because smiling is the Sunnah of our Holy Prophet P.B.U.H. Studies have
shown that smiling releases endorphins and serotonin and these chemicals make us feel good
from head to toe.
Prayers and Holy Quran:
Islamic 'salat' prayers include both spiritual meditation and physical movements of various parts
of the body and they are believed to improve equilibrium, balance, and joint flexibility as well as
maintain lower limb performance. Besides, prayers are a source of success for us because
Muazzin in Azan says let's come to success. So I pray prayers regularly and also read Holy
Quran to understand about sayings of Allah Almighty
Positive Thinking:
Positive thinking is the key to stress management. So. I try to think positive to enhance my
happiness and self esteem.
Reading:
Books are the best friend of a student. So, I read books to keep myself updated, gain
knowledge of my field, increase vocabulary, reduce stress and to strengthen my brain.
Learning of At Least 3 New Skills Every Year:
Learning a new skill occupies your mind and helps you focus on something positive. So, I am
also focusing on learning new skills to make myself more capable. Currently, I am learning
graphic designing and spoken English.
Focusing on Present:
Researchers have found that people who live in the now are happier, more optimistic, less
depressed, and more satisfied with life overall. So I try to remain in the present moment to
become more happy and satisfied. Because I can never change my past and my future is also
not in my hands. So by focusing on the present I can make my past memorable and the future
bright.
No Comparison With Others:
Studies have shown that people who make frequent social comparisons are more likely to
experience feelings of envy, regret, guilt and defensiveness. So, I don't compare myself with
others.
Serving Humanity:
Giving to others can help protect my mental and physical health. It can reduce stress, combat
depression, keep myself mentally stimulated, give inner peace and provide a sense of purpose.
That's why I try to help others
Physical and Mental Exercises:
Physical and mental exercise make you active, strong, healthy and smart and also reduces your
stress and anxiety. So I do physical exercises in my home to become fit and healthy and for
mental health I do meditation.
