SMALL SCALE CONSTRUCTION

Land is becoming increasingly scarce as the world's population expands and
environmental changes reduce the amount of liveable space on Earth. Large
mansions and structures are losing their significance. A house has been
reduced to its most basic necessity, with greater emphasis placed on its
functionality and open spaces. An entire house can fit in one room area if the
furniture is foldable and built in. The small scale construction encourages
people to downsize their lives and specially their living footprints. The small
scale construction will include all the facilities and rooms a regular home has
but in a more compact area. The architectural requirements of the small house
can adapt and transform the space with flexibility in designing by using spatial
requirements.
The issue is the increase in population and urbanization has led to widespread
concern about the resulting expansion of the construction land. And the aim is
to investigate the construction of small houses and determine the design
elements required to adapt the small size dwelling. And to understand the
unique aspects for the small house construction designed in a very small area.
And to cater every needs within house.

RECYCLED LANDSCAPE DESIGN
Reusing waste materials helps to reduce pollution and improve environmental
quality. Reusing waste has several advantages, including being good for the
environment, keeping waste out of landfills, and providing significant financial
benefits to both businesses and households. There are mass of reclaimed
materials used in modern landscape design such stone ,timber, tiles, paddle
stones and reclaimed bricks together in the design. Plastics, crushed glass,
steel, wood, concrete, and tyres are the most common types of recycled
materials. It generates a study of various materials used in urban
environments. Construction waste is a by-product of the process. They are
effectively recycled into a new building material and used for construction.
Architecturally, these repurposed materials show respect for nature and the
city.
The problem is decreasing landfill space due to increasing quantities of these
wastes in it, depleted building materials, increased contamination from
landfills resulting in serious negative health effects and environmental damage.
The aim was to explore a recyclable manner of making use of construction
waste or any other waste material in the landscape design. By examining trash
sources and determining where it may be used in a beneficial way in the
landscape design, as well as implying on the design for a desirable conclusion.

BRUTALIST ARCHITECTURE
Brutalist architecture is a type of architecture that emerged in the United
Kingdom in the 1950s as part of post-war reconstruction programmes.
Brutalism gets its name from the French term béton brut, which means “raw
concrete.” structures are distinguished by their massive, monolithic, and
"blocky" appearance, as well as their rigid geometric style and large-scale use
of poured concrete. From the mid-twentieth century to the mid-1970s, this
style rose in popularity before collapsing as a bad taste model. Exposed,
unpainted concrete or brick, angular geometric features, and a primarily
monochrome colour palette are also used in the design.. Today, however,
brutalism is fashionable.
But problem is Concrete structures that were soulless, grey, and crumbling
were something where people want to get away from. People disliked the
style because of its dull, colourless appearance, which also evoked feelings of
hostility and aggression. The aim was to revive the architectural brutalist style,
which had fallen out of favour, by Understanding the significance of brutalist
architecture and its minimalistic approach to building design, construction
methods, and materials. And to conceive the modern era's resurgence of
brutalist architecture in style.
