INTRODUCTION

This project is about the solution of a real life problem (The overall
procedure of space rocket).
This report is in response to the Course end project given to us by our
respected teacher Sir Hatif bin abdul Majeed. The CEP is a complex
engineering problem that demand understanding of different aspects
of a thing and demands a 360 degree analysis . The analysis was to be
done of a rocket that was Launched by NASA for the purpose of
maintenace in a space station. We were directed to do our
observations and implement our knowledge about various
phenomenas happening on the surface of the rocket as it shoots
through the upper atmosphere. We were advised to calculate certain
quantitites which we did up to our best.. We used our knowledge of
volumetric , surface charge density, implemented Gausses law and
various other methods that we know are sutiable for this analysis...
This report gives a in depth response to the engineering activity.

PROCEDURE FOLLOWED

The different steps followed to solve our problem are as mentioned

below;
1. By a complete study of the given CEP and taking a brief
overview we come to the solution by first finding the charge
enclosed in space.
2. After finding the charge enclosed by the space the next task that
we done is the that we find the value of electric flux density at r1
and r1 has some unknown value. Since we have studied that
guass’s law is used to find the electric flux density, so here we
used Guass’s law to find the solution of our required electric flux
density.
3. Then the next thing we done is that we find the values of electric
flux density at different values of r1 like 0.4m,1.9m,4m,1.3m.
since we have found the value of electric flux density generally
at r1 we just simply put the exact values of r1 in already found
eqution of electric flux density in order to find our exact values.
4. After that we give our critical analysis about the CEP.

OUR APPROACH:-
This activity demanded us to be optimistic and to keep in
mind all the various outcomes of our observations. We kept this in
mind and first wrote down all the things that we understood at first
reading of the problem. Next we linked things together that we
understood according to our course and then like a chain things kept
connecting, we knew what was our path for a positive outcome.

SUMMARY:-
The project given to us is about the rocket that is launched by NASA
in which we have to find the charge enclosed by the space and the
value of electric flux density at different values of r.
We have found our solutions by using Guass’s law, keeping all the
restrictions and genuine demands and laws of physics in mind.
Here first we have found the charge enclosed by the space for
1<r<r1 using the given volumetric charge density for this space
which is 4r mC/m3 only because we know that the volumetric charge
density inside the cylinder i.e. less than 1 m as well as beyond the
surface i.e. greater than 2 m is considered to be zero. (r : distance
from
the center of the cylinder).
Then we found the electric flux density using guass’s law since we
know that guass’s law gives us an appropriate and essay calculations
in this regard.
After the completion of all the required values and expressions we
give our deep and conceptual analysis for the given CEP.

CONCLUSION:-

Thus in the final end of the report we are concluding that this CEP has
given us the opportunity to implement our knowledge on to
something more practical and real. We got to know the purpose of
studying different phenomenas that we now used in this problem
solving methodology. Basically according to our understanding the
purpose of this CEP was to make us implement our learnings of the
the course so that we can more clearly understand the course
contents.
