QUIZ AND TEST DAY

Ms. Buenaflor’s 11th grade class

BEGINNING OF
CLASS

• Come in as usual and sit in your

assigned seats.
• Take out your notes, notecards,
etc. and do last minute studying for
10 minutes!
QUIZ/TEST TIME!

• Put all notebooks, notecards,

pencil pouches, foods, technological
devices in your bag/backpack
• Place your bag in the front of the
classroom
• Grab an extra pencil if needed
• Sit back in your chair till I give further
instructions
RULES

• NO CHEATING
• You may keep a drink with you, but I need to inspect the bottle first
• No phones!
• You will place your phones in the designated charging station and ensure it is turned OFF
• Wait patiently as I pass out the tests upside down
• You may not get out of your seat, if you need something please raise your hand
• Remain quiet throughout the whole testing session

• You are NOT allowed a cheat sheet on a quiz.

• The quiz should only take up to 30 minutes, anymore than that, please see me during lunch or after school.

• You are able to retake the quiz ONLY 2 times before the end of the semester. Whichever grade is higher is

the grade I will use in the gradebook.

• You are allowed ONE 3x5 index card

• The test should take the rest of the period, anymore than that, please see me during lunch or after school

• You are able to retake the test ONE time before the semester ends. Whichever grade is higher is the grade

DURING THE QUIZ/TEST

• Again, please remain silent throughout the quiz/test session

• Keep your eyes on your own paper
• Don’t be scared to ask questions! I am here to help you!
• If your phone or device goes off during the session, you must quietly and immediately turn it off
• You may use the restroom, just be quiet and courteous to others as you walk past them and go in
and out of the room
AFTER THE QUIZ/TEST

• When you’re done, place your test face down in the basket on my desk
• Return to your seat quietly
• You can lay your head down or grab other work from another class (but keep your
backpack/bag in the front)
• Wait for others to finish
DISCIPLINARY ACTION

• If you are caught cheating, I will immediately take your quiz/test away
• No retakes will be allowed
• I will report it to the Deans
• If you are caught cheating 2 times in my class, I will email your parents about the situation and
report it to the Deans. If it is 3 times, I am going to contact them and set up an after school
meeting to discuss what is going on and why it keeps happening as well as inform the Deans once
again.
