1. Concept Learned
• Learnt how to design the house using revit MEP
• While designing different commands like wall ,floor and roof to design the building
• Learnt about ,Air terminals,chillers,AHU and VAV
• AHU is a mechanical device that is used to control the air inside the room
• VAV is helpful in controling variaion in air volume inside the room
• Chiller is the mechanical device used to remove heat from liquid via vapour compression
,absorption and refrigeration
• Heat load calculation and pressure drop in duct was also learnt
2. Key Observations and Insights

• We can use various short cuts like AL for align,TR for trim inorder to make the work flow
easy.
• It is important to take care of the offset.while placing mechanical component
• Systematic designing is effective
• We can also select different kind of door and floor and change its parameters by editing
by duplicating and applying changes
3. Application Areas

• Application is a necessity for making any project which involve a building

• Gives virtual idea of the project
• Used for the designing of industries for air supply and removal and cooling
