A Training Design Proposal

I. Introduction

Teaching-learning process in this time of COVID-19 pandemic became

challenging in the part of an educators because as far as education is concern,
we teachers marked as the prime mover in delivering quality education in a way
that we knew best for our learner.
Online Instruction is one of the initiatives that DepEd eyed to deliver
content to learners without needing them to be physically present to acquire
knowledge. This answers the result of the survey made by the district that some
of the learners can access through internet aside modular learning modalities.
However, it entails skills of the educator to this matter to make this possible.
Fortunately, Cebu Province hold webinar of trainers to develop and equip
knowledge, skills and attitude and values of all PSDSs and ICT Coordinators and
be ready to cascade on the creation of various online learning platforms in their
respective station. By then, the teacher can now deliver the lessons to the
learners efficiently. This will also help teachers to explore using the advanced
technology specifically the creation of various online learning platform that could
greatly help them in the delivery of their lessons through virtual classes, amid this
COVID-19 pandemic.

II. Objectives

1. orient the participants on the important features of various online

platforms such as: Learning Management System, Google Meet, etc.;
2. discuss the use of Learning Management System, Google Meet and
Microsoft Team in the classroom as part of the new normal;
3. demonstrate the procedures creating the online learning classrooms
being introduced;
4. appreciate the value of being an innovative and resourceful individual.

III. Expected Outcomes

1. Capacitate school leaders and teachers on various online

learning platforms
2. Improve the teacher’s competence to achieve 100%
performance level.
